Busy Life

Over all life is great!!  It just so busy.  When did it become this crazy.  I know this time of life should be enjoyable, but how can you?  It seems daily going starts at 5 am and never ends till 11 pm.  How can enjoyment come when there isn't time to enjoy? 

So excited!!  My three older boys are all in Marching Band this up comming year.  Spencer had to try out a few times before he wasn't so nervous and made it finally.  My three boys all in the band.  It is so exciting.  I don't look forward to paying for all those fees...expecially since I don't have much income in the summer.  Courtney's winter color guard is underway.  They took 4th in their first competition.  It seems unfair to have our cute little elementary kids against some JH and HS kids, but they held their own and did well.  Life is so busy.  A good thing is that they are busy, but a bad thing is that their busy...go figure that out. 

Simplify is the key, but with five kids simply is one of hardest things. 

Weird Day

Just the weirdest day.  I planned on working at Library and go to recess and go home for the day.  Not so today.  I was pulled from Library to cover a teacher's class, who had a family emergency.  Then a teacher sprained her ankle.  And the weirest...the principal fell at recess and cut her head.  She had to be taken in for stitches.  Yes, the principal.  SO weird.  Not a normal day. 

Then I  had to run to JH to an SEOP and get a cover for the class I was covering for.  Then while I was gone the person covering for me had to address a school issue so the class had to be joined into another class.  So follow this..The class had five teachers cover them today.  I covered for the teacher(2), then while in transition from real teacher to me they had another person cover (2+1=3), I ran to JH another cover (3+1=4), then before my return a teacher covered for the cover of the cover of the teacher (4+1=5).  WEIRD DAY.

Love working at schools, everyday is an adventure!!!
